I had VIP tics for KID's both shows at Comerica Pk in July/09.
I thought this song was AWESOME!! He sang it last
and it really touched home cuz I live here in Detroit
where economy is very bad. He loves our "D" and his fans so I feel lucky that I live here 4 that reason!!!!

I love the song.It's whats in his heart and it's real ! He is a awesome artist,performer and person. I,as I'm sure the residents of Detroit, am both Thankful and Proud that Bob is doing all these things to try and get Detroit back on there feet.I wish there was something I could do to help .Even though I live in North Carolina I represent Detroit in every way I can from clothing to car decals to tattoo's. Had been wanting to see kid perform forever and finally got tickets to see him in July in St.Louis me and my sister was so excited. My dad was in bad health and passed away on the nite of the conncert and we had to give away the tickets. So I hope to see U soon kid.. Keep up the tunes. Love them all

I think Bob is an incredible human being. He's always thinking of someone else and for someone who has what he has to always be thinking of others, you can't top that. Can't wait to try Badass Beer in Maryland. I have the car tag from the website from a few years back in my windshield and always get comments about it. Kid is THE MAN! Keep on rockin'. sometimes it takes a bit more time to deliver such a good message, some slow songs define an artists career (not sayin that this one will of course)... maybe it will grow on ya, the studio version may have more instruments to take it up a notch or something, you never can tell with kid rock man.

Love the new song Kid, your stage name is so fitting b/c you do in fact ROCK! You're a real dude behind all the fame, drugs, and titties and thats what the REAL people relate to. You speak the truth about life whether its your own personal life experience or just life in general. Detroit has taken a major hit w/ the state of today's economy and I can see that way a major influence on this song. I saw him perform In Times Like These at Comerica Park and really liked it. I think hearing the words and seeing the symbolism on screen behind him really adds to the song. I think so many of us have in some way been effected by the economy that this songs hits home of us. So thank you for writing a song that shows you can be on top of the world but not forget the people that got you there!!

The song In Time Like These....it's ok. I think what kidrock is talking about is hitting home for him even though he's a rock star, he has family that are not so fortunate quite like he is. Maybe he can use that song to raise money or food for a charity drive to help those family's who are in desprate need in his hometown of Detroit considering detroit is one of the most hardest hit by the economics.

Honestly, Both are equal, considering the age of him then and now. In 2000, he was about 30yrs old and now he's 38. The energy level i'm sure has changed so i think he done very well considering. I thought he looked very nice....somethin different.

My favorite Kid Rock moment of 2008 was his VH1 Storytellers special ~ Very well done!
I feel this is his BEST cd ever. Dont get me wrong I love all of his cd's but the first time I heard "Rock N Roll Jesus I was floored. He sounds so mature and has come a very long way.

I totally feel the song. I'm a year younger than the Kid and I get what he's saying about time rollin' on!! The video takes you back to his earlier days of hanging in the hood where he started out as a DJ in black house parties in the hood. If you don't know his history try Googling sometime!.
